I don't seem to be able to find anywhere other than tredz to buy a Sram x-sync chainring Non-direct mount. Nothing fancy, i just want a small ring on my NX crankset.

I'm not giving my money to tredz as they'll probably tell me in a month that they can't get it.

Are my google-fu skills failing me or is only tredz selling these???

Please tell me i'm an idiot and point me in the right direction!

Thanks

Ben

plenty on ebay for around £10 - that's the steel version but given the size of the ring the durability far outweighs the small weight penalty IMHO.

e.g.

Thanks guys

I can't use ebay as i refuse to send my I.D docs to paypal so it looks like i'll be getting it from Germany which is bloody stupid as Tredz are local to me!

I'm still not giving Tredz my money though! 😀

you could try some of the ebay sellers and see if they have a physical or non-ebay store but otherwise yer pays yer money, takes yer choice etc.

Not sure what you mean about ID docs to paypal though, its the same info you need to provide to any online retailer

You can pay via PayPal without an account - just use a credit or debit card.

I had a paypal account years back but never really used it. The one time I tried to buy something on ebay it said my linked paypal account was blocked.

All attempts at sorting it out ended in paypal demanding I send them identification documents which I have refused to do. Even trying to pay as a guest it recognise's my bank details, tells me I have a paypal account and wont let me go any further. I don't use ebay enough to go through the hassle of giving them the ID they want.

As i'm typing this though i've just had a Doh! moment, I'll use my CC details instead!
