problems with my guide brakes and reverb loosing pressure, came on my Whyte which is just over 1 yea old, I thought sram stuff was 2 years warranty but lbs told me today it was 1???

Sram is a 2 year global warranty...lbs is wrong. Call Sram tech and ask them to confirm then tell lbs to check with Sram tech.
Whyte won't be any help directly as they claim a 1 year warranty for their bike...if out of the year and there is still warranty they tell you to deal with the distributor of the part (they have done for me on 2 occasions - both times sorted quickly and also when I was within the year Whyte sorted me out next day, fantastic service).
