How do you remove a T-Type derailleur?  Stupid question probably but I’ve slackened the bolt anti clockwise and it is now going round and round and I’m worried that I may be being stupid.  Does it require pulling or perhaps pushing from the rear?

New bike that I didn’t assemble and this is my first experience of T-Type.  I really need the bike in a bag before Saturday morning and now regretting I didn’t look into this sooner…. All advice gratefully received

Have you removed the thru axle first?

Remove axle, undo large mech bolt and remove, mech slips off, job done

I'd read up on refitting process and maybe try it before you go, too - it's not difficult but might be stressful when you get on holiday and aren't sure.

Axle out and I’ve watched installation videos to get an idea of how it bolts together but the mech bolt is not sliding out to allow the mech to be removed.  I will have another look when I get home

undo large mech bolt and remove

I’m past the undo bit but the bolt has not come out

Done.  It just took a lot of coaxing to get the bolt out of the red bush.  I've had looser press fit bottom brackets!
