Hey,
I was running XT brakes with 180 rotors which is how my bike came as standard. The fork had a 160 - 180 adapter. The rear mounted directly.
Recently I upgraded to Sram Codes. All good so far. I then tried to find some Sram 200 centrelock discs but no luck, so I bought some 203 Icetech Shimanos with the appropriate Shimano mounts.
The rear, which now has a 180 - 203 adapter, is sweet. However, on the front I have tried the recommended 160 - 203 shimano adapter but the brake housing rubs on the disc. I tried bodging it a little by putting some washers between the mount and the brake but it's still not the right fit, maybe because the top needed a slightly bigger washer and this pushed the angle out.
Has anyone here solved this problem?
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?
Maybe try the Sram 200 mounts with some spacers?
Thanks!
