Any good tips?  Just replace the master cylinder pistons and I can't get all the air out. Tried virtually every variation on Youtube and none really work. Can get the wheels both locked solid when pulling hard by hand but on the road they don't stop the bike. Near new pads which are good and clean but run in. Discs spotless. Indeed these were working well before pistons were swapped. I do struggle with pushing the syringes in due to arthritic hands but am too tight to buy the SRAM pro kit at 80 quid.

Which SRAM brakes do you have?
Are they with Bleeding Edge or not?

I have a couple of tips for either that may help, but it depends which you have 🙂

Rival levers with Red calipers. Bleeding edge versions. Were working so nicely although the pistons were past their best hence the swap. Grrr

I just bought the SRAM kit from https://epicbleedsolutions.com and follow their instructions. Works first  time every time.

That's the kit I use. Damned if I can bleed them this time.

Not sure if this is the common way of doing it.
Last time i did road bike rear I put the bike in a stand and set it vertical. I undid the stem to rotate the bars 90 degrees so they were horizontal. This was on an internally routed set up with lots of bends. (Shimano- Hope)

Tried everything and every video I can find but damned if it works.

Anyone had experiences of the bladder in the master cylinder being damaged? Looks fine on both sides. Or any other tips?
