Hi folks,
The gear shifter on my right-hand Rival hydraulic shifter / brake is sticking behind the brake lever. It looks like the reach adjustment mechanism has failed causing the gear lever to be all the way forward. Does anyone know a fix for this, other than buying a new brake? The brakes are out of warranty.

Cheers
Rich

I have the same issue. If I mess around with the reach of the brake lever and that somehow resets the gear lever adjust... until the pads wear down a bit and then the problem comes back. It’s a shite design.

Was googling this the other day for another problem, pretty sure there are threads describing the fix, it's to do with a "fake" extra gear on the shifter when dropping to ensure that the hoods don't stick. Or spraying the shite out of it with wd40

Supply is non existent for replacements except planetX, who have them for sale at half price btw.

But includes the brake caliper too.
