I need to replace the chainrings on the wifes bike. Cranks are Rival 22, with one of the bolt holes hidden behind crank arm. Google has thought me that this uses a knurled nut, which I've managed to remove.

We've bought one of these and the corresponding 34t ring. Problem is the pin that is supposed to stop the chain getting jammed behind the arm is going to be in the wrong place. I assume this won't be a problem, just might look a bit shit?

Thanks

Why have you bought 10 speed chainrings?
You can just pull the pin out

@simondbarnes because I'm a halfwit! I just googled Sram Rival 50t, they came up and we had some Halfords vouchers. That'll teach me to not read the description. Back to the drawing board, though my Googling tonight suggests any 110bcd rings will work.
