Having just received my new sram red 22 shifters, front & rear mech I was wondering will the controls work with my 6800 ultegra calipers ok until I can afford red calipers. Is anyone running the same or something similar.

I have eTap with 6800 calipers, was going to upgrade them later but at £200 I think I’ll leave it...the Shimano work fine

I'm using the opposite system with no problems, i.e. red calipers with 6800 shifters. So if it's cable pull ratio you're concerned about, that doesn't seem to be an issue.
