Hi folks - my front shifter on Sram x9 suddenly ceased working. Taking it apart shows a horrid wee casting right in the guts.

I'd like to ask Sram for a new bit as this looks like a manufacturing defect rather than a misuse/excess usage thing. Anyone able to help with contact details as the Sram main site didn't help me much. Thanks
Google Sram Tech Centre, all the details there.
Its unlikely Sram will deal with you directly.
send it back to where you bought it and they'll deal with the warranty.
As above or your local fisher dealer may be able to return it for you but if its not where you got it I would expect them to charge
Ta - PITA though - first bit of SRAM I've had after years of good honest service from Shimano - this has lasted 13 months - typical - not sure the warranty will cover it... BTW you guys able to see the picture? Doesn't display on mine?
Fishers will deal with you direct for warranty. They did for someone in my local road club for a failed force shifter. That shifter was a year out of warranty and they still replaced it.
BMP - broken shifter paddle?
