Newly bled, adjuster at maximum reach, pads about half worn but lever pulls a bit too close to bars for my liking

Any idea how to resolve ? Thanks

Are you sure they are fully filled? If so, you could move the pistons a bit closer to the rotor and then top up with fluid - it will definitely reduce the lever throw but it will also have the pads much closer to the rotor so they will rub more when they get manky. It isn't the 'right' thing to do but it does seem to work.

Had this on my guides. Basic version with no bite point adjustment on the lever. Happened after the pads were half worn. Basically took the wheel out and pulled the lever a few times to move the pistons out. There is a bit of rotor rub now and again but totally livable with.
