Long term Shimano user requires advise on SRAM BB!

I've just picked upa second hand bike with a X0 crank on it with a GXP bottom bracket that's got a bit of a side to side wobble on it so assume its worn oput and in need of replacement.

The frame is a standard BB cup, can anybody tell me if this one will fit?

Cheers

Gxp bbs seem utter rubbish to me. I've gone with a hope with the gxp adapters.

Same cranks and BB on my Nerve. First one lasted a couple of years - outlasting 2 cassettes and front rings by quite a way. So I just replaced like for like with the one in the OPs link as they are pretty cheap

Second one looks to be lasting at least as long

To add some balance my SRAM bottom bracket experience has been very good. The first lasted 5 years and multiple frame swaps. The second, now on an SS, is still running nice and smooth.

IMHO they are more susceptible to the effects of preload.

The shimano system of crank preloading seems a lot more gentle than the SRAM approach.

As a result you can still wreck even the best BBs.

Again IMHO.
