My X7 10 speed is pretty worn out and getting a bit sloppy but they aren't so easy to get nowadays..... I gather that the GX is effectively a replacement ???? Is this actually so ??? The same quality ??

Is it compatible with X5 shifters?

Would a change to shimano Deore be worthwhile??

Fwiw my more recent x5 kit works better and has lasted longer than the old x5/x7 set up that preceeded it.

My gx 11 feels a bit better than my x9 type 2. Shifter feel on the gripshift is better too.

Ok... The GX is listed as a 2 X 10 ? My Bike has 3 X 10 ? I don't understand why the GX is specifically listed as 2 X 10 ?? Surely the rear derailleur wouldn't need to be specific to a 2 or 3 front?

Maybe they just don't make triples any more?
