[Closed] SRAM GX Eagle Groupset - Boost vs Non Boost?

I think GX cranks are boost and use a straight chain ring, you could get the non-boost one and fit an offset chain ring though (I think).

That was my thought.  I could look at the chain line as it is with the none  boost and if needed swap out the chainring.

My chainset just needed a chainring swap. I presume the groupset doesn’t include hubs?

This looks a good buy and swap the chain ring if necessary

Or use your existing cranks with the right offset chainring and sell the Sram Cranks on as new and recoup some of the outlay. Thats what we have done in the past with 10 and 11 speed and sold these on. Finished up with 12 speed upgrades with little outlay at the end

I bought non boost gx eagle groupset by mistake. Fitted it anyway (only the chainring is different) works perfectly. Cost of chainring is less than price difference of boost/non boost groupset if you did need a boost chainring.
