So, I was noticing a lot of chain slap and my chain had started falling off more frequently than usual on my gx 12spd RD. I read up around adjusting the clutch as it didn’t seem to be very effective (unlike the last gx RD I had),yet there was no advice on adjusting the type 3 roller bearing. Despite this, I decided to pull the clutch apart and see what I could do... resulting in me screwing up the whole clutch system and I’m unable to get the tension back (due to my stupidity).
Anyone heard of a way to get the clutch tension back on the type 3 roller bearing clutch ?
Cheers.
Sram clutches have been non adjustable for a few years. There are people who claim that with some creative bodging it can be done.
