So they have been working spot on but since I fitted new headset bearings and new bars the rear lever is slow to return. They work perfect other than that.Think that it’s happened now is just a coincidence.
Will a bleed sort it or is it sticky pistons?

Sounds like sticky pistons, happens when it get's warm if you've not replaced them with the revised ones. Try a bleed first though.

Try running some cold water over the body of the lever to cool it down to see if that changes it.

Recently had to replace the lever piston on my Guide RS's.

Was easy to do and made a big difference to performance.

Anyone know which piston I would want for my guide RS levers, there are 2 lengths ,

2.6cm and 3.6cm. Would be nice not to have to strip them down to find out.

Also do I need any specific tools to do the job? Thanks.

Obviously you'll need a SRAM bleed kit, i think you'll need a 9mm Torx bit for the bleed too. (might be 10mm). Other than that, spend a bit of time taking it apart so you remember what way around the return spring goes, it's really easy to forget 😀 You then spend 20 mins thinking 'is it that way, or that way...or....' but it's a fairly simple if a little messy job.
