Hello
I’ve just been partaking in my favourite hobby: rounding the inside of a torx bolt. I also enjoy rounding Allen bolts and other screws, bolts and nuts.
I cannot now tighten my brake/ shifter unit enough. I believe the replacement is a T25 but I’m having difficulty confirming this, can anybody help please?
I'm going to get a big bag of them so I can strip away at my pleasure.
My G2 RS brakes have a T25 torx bolt in the clamp. I think the SRAM brakes all use the same clamp.
Can confirm its a T25, and that SRAM brake lever clamps are the work of the devil.
Thank you fellow STWers, very handy information.
I didn’t have a torx bolt laying about, but I found an Allen bolt that fit. It works, though it looks a bit ungainly. It’ll do for now, ans I didn’t even strip it when I fitted it!
Whats the issue with the lever clamps devash? I didn't have any problems removing and refitting, and I’m as crack-handed as they come.
