I'm looking to fit a Sram grip shift for the front mech on my bike. I current have Shimano Zee brakes fitted and wanted to know whether this throws up any issues as the levers on the Zee brakes are short. I will also be running a reverb under the bar which would presumably push the brakes even further inboard. I was hoping to avoid the congestion when using Shimano shifters.
Has anyone got the same configuration and does it cause issues?

Not exactly the same - but XX1 Grip Shift and XTR brakes (so similar 2.5 finger levers), and no issues. Perhaps not quite as far outboard as I'd have liked, but fitted better than Grip Shift of yesteryear with Avid Juicy brakes. You can get the brake lever right up against the shifter clamp.
