I am after a SRAM front mech ( see wanted post)
I am damn sure that MTB and road are interchangeable, it works at the back but does any one know if things changed between different eras?
Eg would a mech from, say the days of 9 speed shifters, work in a modern 10 speed set up? Did pull ratios change etc as fashions changed?
Remember its front I am on about.
I remember that my 06 Enduro had SRAM shifters and rear mech but a Shimano XT front mech. Haven't got one to play with sadly.
