Got a Sram force double tap right hand shifter for my road bike and the shifter paddle seems to of broken off. Is there any repair kit to mend it from fisher/sram and can you do the job yourself?? Has anyone got any idea as they are pretty expensive to replace.
Thanks
ROb
That is a relatively common issue - the paddle is held on with a little grub screw that undoes itself then the paddle falls off. Suggest you call Fishers who distribute SRAM in the UK.

older than 2yrs? If not then warranty (first owner?), if yes beg them to be nice (its a design fault ie common failure) or I think its new shifter time. Would be a nightmare to fix, if indeed it's possible.

Mine broke off, there's a part in there thats like a 3D H shape and it sheared in two. Hope the OP is lucky!
Least i can use as a brake lever if all else fails. Would be nice to fix though!!
Have got a workshop job (it's not you is it?) for this at work.As said above if it's less than 2 years old and you've got proof of purchase then SRAM will replace.Otherwise it's new shifter time.
I had some do this, 3 pairs now! just out of warranty but Fishers weren't interested in helping. didn't even offer a discounted replacement part. hope your outcome is better than mine was!
Just had a 3 year old Rival shifter replaced FOC even though it was out of warranty . Sram said it was a known fault so would replace . Sram warranty through Fishers has never been less than excellent IME , give them a call before you do anything else .
Rorschach, not me i don't think but can you let me know how you get on please.
Thanks
