Hello team I'm looking at both models to upgrade my group set but I'm after some true feedback from people who may have or used these.

Well, I have the previous XX1 (Eagle is meant to fell the same but 1 louder) and I have just bought XTR for my other bike. In my opinion you can see and feel why XX-1 is more expensive. It looks and feels more high-end. Saying that, having ridden both (And fitted both), in shifting performance and feel they are both superb.

Likewise, not bothered with Eagle, but had XX1 and XTR. I personally prefer XTR, but with the wider SRAM cassette. It's personal though. If you want the range then Eagle is unrivalled.

Just fitted Eagle a few weeks ago (albeit X01 Eagle) to my main bike and it's fantastic. Does feel just like the 11spd version in use as mentioned above, but obviously with more range.

XTR feels great too but you're not comparing like with like because of the 11 vs 12 thing IMO.

If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed with Eagle. If not then to be honest, pretty much any of the new 1x11 setups work really well anyway, the question is more about how much range you want and what cassette you pick than which shifter and mech IMO.

'Very got XTR 11 speed on one bike and XX 10 speed on another. Nice though the XTR shift is, I think the SRAM shift feels nicer and more positive. Ok you lose the multi shift option but I've never really noticed that.

Eagle for sure, although personally I would probably mix and match XX1 and X01 for best value (based on price I could find each). The X01 loses little over XX1 in reality, and if its available for a good bit less, I would probably take the X01 bits where the value was.
