can anyone with a eagle mech do me a favour please, or anyone who knows the answer of course...

there are 4 supplied bearing dust covers on the jockey wheels, one of the 4 bearing dust covers has a lip on it, quite obvious compared to the other 3 - can you tell me which jockey and which side it should go on please? ive taken it apart and didnt take note, now im struggling to see which jockey/side it goes on

cheers!

The one with the lip on sits on the lower jockey wheel inner (silver) cage I think.

The jockey wheels should have 'U' (upper) and 'L' (lower) printed on them. You should be able to see the text looking at the bike from the side.

now another daft question, is the longer bolt for the bottom and shorter one for the top? i dont want to cross thread anything 🙂

Not 100% but I'd have thought the longer bolt should go through the lower jockey wheel with the lipped bearing cover.
Upper side thread on the inner cage looks to be offset so shouldn't need as long a bolt.

thank you my good man - logic suggested longer too on the bottom one but just wanted to make sure - thanks so much for replying 🙂
