I've just spent the best part of an hour trying to get that delightful blue seal back into my brand new SRAM dub bottom bracket and now having missed dinner I'VE GIVEN UP!!!!! So I've fit my cranks without it on one side.... I won't die right?! Because there's no way that little blue sod is going into that tiny gap, I think it ate some biscuits while it was out because it's bigger than the gap it came from!!!

They do go back in but it is painful, I’ve used a bit grease in the past to keep it retained.

No chance that blue seal was going back in, I managed it once and then once the axle went back in it just messed up again.
