Just noticed this morning that I've lost a bit off the driveside of my SRAM Apex 1 cranks. There's threads on the drive side crank at the axle area and something has fallen off. Doesn't look like it would be a bolt but maybe some sort of collar/pre load adjuster?

I'm not overly familiar with sram cranks as this is the first bike I've had with them.

Any idea what I need to buy and are my cranks likely to fall off on the way home?

It's PF30 BB btw.

Sounds like it could be the extractor, is it right in the middle of the crank? Will try and post a piccy up when i get back from work tonight

Yes, in the middle of the crank. If it's the extractor then that's fine, they won't fall off 🙂

I've googled sram carnk removal and looks like that's what it is.
