Just cleaning and checking one of the family bikes which has a SRAM GX group set, and according to the specs, a Sram PG-1020, 11-36T cassette (on a Shimano freehub not an XD one). One of the spacers has cut outs to match the freehub splines, while the rest are plastic and fit right over. I'm assuming that this one with cut outs goes nearest the outside and the cut outs are so it can fit with the smaller cogs. But I could be wrong?

And I was. The metal spacer with the cut outs goes first, not last. According to this...
