Anyone else have a nightmare using this new bleeding edge tool thing?  It doesn’t seem to create an air tight seal around the port. It’s absolutely shocking. I need at least another 12 pairs of hands!  Grrrrrr

Just me?

Never had an issue.   You have to push it really hard to make it click in.

Never had an issue either, I think it's good.

When you say make it click, the rubber o ring is inside the port and it engages well when turning to unscrew the bleed port?  Should there be another click?

Yep you can still open the port without it being properly engaged. You should feel a clear click when it's in.

Oh bloody hell. I’ll try harder next time!  I swear my reverb has more air in it now than it did before I started!

So far it's worked fine for me on a reverb but I don't really see much advantage and I was very conscious that the thing could easily come out at an inopportune moment. In fact what is the point of bleeding edge?

In fact what is the point of bleeding edge?

You can close of the port before removing the syringe, leading to less leakage / risk of air ingress.

Worked ok for me the one time I’ve used it. Opened the port per the instructions then clicked the bleeding edge tool in. Pushed quite hard and you hear a big click as it engages.

Got a great bleed first time - wish the lever had the same thing so you don’t leak a bit of brake fluid when you disengage it at that end too.

Do you ‘click’ it in before or after you turn the bleed screw?

Reverbs dont have a defined click when pushing the bleeding edge tool in. Others are talking about the brake version.

I’m using the reverb x1 remote if that makes a difference?
