I have a Whyte 29C with the press fit Sram BB. The bearings were changed last Summer and after a couple of months of mud have decided to start seizing up. Can anyone please advise on a suitable longer lasting solution. I would prefer to retain the Sram cranks if possible. Thanks

Thanks, I had been looking at them. Looks like a late Chrimbo present for myself. Never ceases to amaze me that Sram haven't sorted the problem out after all this time 👿

I reckon standard bearing shields really aren't designed to be the first defence against mud and water; they are intended to keep the grease in the bearing when it warms up while in use in a sheltered environment.
