I’m thinking of upgrading to 1x12 on the tt bike but have some questions
Ideally I’d like to save some pennies by not having to change my current chainring and freehub (on both the wheel and my turbo where the bike sits most of the time)
With that in mind will a 12 speed sram chain play well with a shimano 12 speed cassette and 11 speed rotor chainring (currently not narrow wide but will probably upgrade at a later date if I can find one)

They are not supposed to. The new Sram flat top chain has slightly larger rollers, so is supposed to only be compatible with sram cassettes and chainrings.
