Can it be done like the old 9 speed XO rear mech type just by one 3mm bolt then twist cage= spring then off..?

Yes! Although it's a bit different to the 9speed mechs. On the 'knuckle' (to which the cage is attached to) you'll find a clip - pull this up and out. Then undo the 3mm tension bolt , twist the cage and remove.

ah.wondered what that clip was for does it just clip,push back in then mate.
