Is this normal. Thought my back end felt like it has a mind of its own.

I'm running a 2.3 purgatory tubeless with an arch ex 26".
Here is a video, is this amount of movement normal.

did the tyre pop onto the shelf part of the rim? looks like it is still sitting in the groove in the middle, or is very soft.

I've got purgs on Arch EX and they're fine @ 30psi

Did it pop on with an audible snap?

I'd pump it up to 45+ psi until you're sure it's seated properly then drop the pressure and see how it is.

What they said, I've got mine on narrower rims and they feel fine at ~25psi.

Maybe mine are over pumped. That's 40psi in the video. It seated pretty well. I guess it's softer than what I'm used to with cheaper stiff wire beads

Ill drop it to low 30s and try.

All the pies Are your purgs 2.3s?
