Trek Remedy, 2012, running an SLX brake on the rear with 180mm rotor. I have changed the pads(twice),the rotor(three times)and ALL the bolts, but it still lets the world know when I`m braking.
Is this a problem other people have suffered?
Anyone got a SENSIBLE solution?

Bad luck. I used to try various things such as cleaning rotors with alcohol, taking pads out and sanding gently etc. now I just take the pads out and hit them with a blowtorch until they stop giving off their own flame.

No idea if it is safe or not but works for me ( xt brakes btw)
