Just changed the chain on my cheap hardtail and noticed the BB was very grumbly. Pulled it out to get the size and it's marked up and measures 73x127mm. Can't find a replacement anywhere at all. I've never heard of a 127mm square taper BB before, is it some random size for some specialist fitment? Seems strange as it's the original one on a Voodoo Hoodoo so not an uncommon bike.
If anyone can point me in the direction of one I'd be grateful!
I have just bought a 73 x 122 un55 for my hybrid via Wiggle. What brand?
I thought 122 was generally the longest spindle,108,110, 113,118,122?
You might be ok with a 5mm difference in chainline .
Otherwise check SJS cycles as they tend to stock Square taper in odd sizes.
Choice of prices and qualities at SJS cycles. They are usually pretty good service on all sorts of random parts. Recently got Campag taper BB from them for getting the old road bike back into commuting form just in time for working from home!

Hope this is useful.
It is an odd choice of BB for the bike as it's boost spacing (141 QR). Did look into a 122 but the crank arms are close enough to the chainstays as it is so that's a no-go.
slowol - they're all 68mm spacing and I don't think I've got the room to use one of those and still have the left crank clear the chainstay, the 68mm would shift everything to the driveside slightly if I've got my sums right. Would give a good chainline but the left crank would be close to the chainstay.
Might have to look into putting a different chainset on it I think. Got an old SRAM double I can try, the ring in the top position should be correct as it's a non-boost double. Stupid cheap bike with a bodged chainset, might email Halfords and see if they have anything that fits.
Sorry about that I missed the 73 mm cup size. One other potential fix is to check whether it is JIS or ISO taper as a mixed marriage of these can in theory shift the chainline a few mm in or out. Believe me this can be a right size matching faff.
Sheldon Brown has a load of numbers that may help your search if you don't have them already:

Good luck with the fix. Also a thought is could you get new cartridge bearings for the current BB if it isn't cup and cone? May need some careful pressing or persuasion with a mallet.
68/122 would work if the nds cup goes in far enough and you have enough crank clearance, 5mm is usually enough as a rule of thumb.
127 did exist back in the day but was rare, I'd def chase Halfords for a proper spare.
Sjs do list 73 x 122.5 either Shimano or £9.99 non Shimano. Spa Cycles also have some random BBs. Half a mil nearer and the correct shell length. Seems you can get right shell width or length but no both together. As you say typical to find oddity from Halfords.
Have fired an email off to Halfords Customer Services, see what they say.
With the current BB I have 5mm clearance on one side, 6mm on the other so not really any wriggle room to play with using a 68mm shell. Really don't want to have to spend any more than I have to right now so will look at options when I've had a reply from Halfords about it.
