Which modern hardtail frames are as compliant/springy as a mk1 pre CEN Soul? I am looking for comfort and resilience over accuracy and stiffness.
Dunno if such a thing exists post CEN matey. I got rid of my mk1 soul, as I wanted a dropper, so git a Bfe. It was harsh as ****. Sold that and got a soul instead (I didn't get a soul when I bought the Bfe as my lbs had none in stock and Ard Rock was days away!) and the CEN soul was just as harsh.
Shame, as my mk1 soul was sublime.
Didn't CEN just lead to a stronger headtube and some gussets on the Soul or were the stays changed too? A new Soul was going to be main contender but not if it is now harse.
