Hi,
I’m intending to spray the lid pictured below with “Deco Colour” paint.
Is it the norm to mask the foam at every vent, or to just spray it all?

Some paint dissolves polystyrene, which is I think why it's mostly considered a big no no. I hope you've researched this.
The paint is advertised as for bike/car plastic parts etc, so I’m hoping it’s ok.
It’s a spare helmet, and I’m willing to give it a go. I asked on here, I think, a while back, and it seemed to be quite popular.
I would certainly mask off all the UPS
Id mask it off and also do some test spays on either an old helmet or some packaging etc.....
Is it the norm
Nope, there isn't one.
ps. ebay listings have a “Share” link somewhere down the page. Gives you - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162478229344

researched..? My guess: no
I’m not overly cautious about things but there is no way I would risk that.
no way I would risk that.
I would if I had a helmet that ugly. 😁
