I'm off to Finland next month to take part in Rovaniemi 150 - my original plan was to take out insurance with British Cycling as this also covered racing. They've changed provider who isn't actually offering any new cover. Any advice on where I can find suitable cover? - most normal travel insurance doesn't cover racing / competitive events.
Dog Tag have a couple of options for competitive cycling.
BMC cover it.
I've used Dog Tag for cover for a couple of Haute Routes. They're sort of racing.
Thanks guys - looks like Dog Tag provide some sort of cover, but not enough for the bike!
Dunno about these for racing but USP is they top-up existing insurance for hazardous activities so it augments your existing (possibly bank account bundled) insurance. I've not claimed against them though
