We have a trip planned to the Alps, at this rate it might be cancelled. But should we be lucky enough to get there, can people recommend good insurance cover, I know I can google it, but just wanted to hear peoples recommendations or ones to avoid. Looking for the whole get you off the mountain, hospital and ship you back home package. I remember some providers it was not much more to pay for the year than a few weeks and have full cover here and abroad. Thanks

Used them when I went, luckily didn't need to use it at all.

We use Sports Cover Direct for annual accident cover (for in the UK). We had to claim last year and it all went smoothly when we sent in the paperwork. Not used their sports travel insurance yet, but they seem good to deal with.
