Has anybody had any experience regarding policies that would pay out to cover mortgage, bills et al in the event of a mountain biking accident (racing or otherwise)? Peaty apparently uses Total Sports Insurance (according to a share from a mate on fb yesterday), just wondering if anyone's had to claim! I stacked badly 3 weeks ago which could've had massive implications for the wife & kids (nearly broke my neck) so having had three weeks of stern talking too's by all and sundry I'm all for making provision if it's not too expensive (and is actually worth the paper it's written on). Cheers.

Peaty is sponsored by total sports insurance.
I have never come accross them but they're using a high profile ne to sell their product.
That doesn't make them good (they might be).

Agreed, hence the initial question. Bump for the evening crowd?

I'd get a quote off them, then probably look for other quotes as a comparison - maybe search what the m/c racers use?

I can't suggest any, but I can definitely say avoid Dog Tag. Had an accident in Morzine and they were absolutely terrible to deal with. I know people will say they've been great but in my case they were not.
