I tried these in the States last year, they were being given out at a bike festival. I sort of think they worked, but maybe that was just a holiday thing (like thinking that Sol or Cusquena actually tastes good, and realising not when you get home).
You can buy them on ebay, but not through the usually bike shops. Is there a UK equivalent?
Reading the website and looking at what'sin the pills, I would suggest that it's bobbins

That's what I thought, snake oil and directional HiFi cables also sprang to mind.......
I tried them 6yrs ago and from my experience its bobbins.
Whilst taking them i had a Salivary Gland Stone!
I'd never had one before and have never had one since! I can't say 100% if it was the sportslegs, but it wasn't very nice.

I used them in the far distant past. Subjectively I thought they did make a difference to the ability to tolerate lactic build up on sustained anaerobic efforts, stuff like 30-sec on, 30-second off sprint intervals, just less burn, but equally it could have been placebo effect bobbins. I also thought that the pay-off next day wasn't worth it, I seemed to be more trashed compared to an equivalent session without the things.
I'd actually forgotten they even existed. Turns out I still have 2/3 of a bottle of the things sat in the kitchen cupboard, which probably tells you as much as anything else.
So probably not.
I didn't even know that salivary gland stones were possible. Did it come out on its own?
NOPE! I had to pull it out with tweezers!
Urgh... rather you than me mate. Said the man who once dug a sliver of animal bone out of a swollen gum with a Swiss Army knife after a Peruvian climbing trip... 😕

And they look just like half an SRAM chain connector!
With a small piece of popcorn beside it for scale.
