I'm going to build up a new front wheel for my Fargo with a Shutter Precision dynamo hub and a Mavic 32H TN317 rim.
The rim ERTO is 622
Hub dimensions are here.

If anyone has a spare minute could they double check the spoke lengths for me.
I will have a bash just now too.
I ended up with
L 302mm R 302.9mm
STOP!
you dont want the ERTO, you want the ERD, which for the TN317 is 600mm by the look of it.
are you thinking 2 cross for the front or 3 cross?
and looking at your numbers (302mm) it seems youve gone for 3x with the wrong ERD (622mm)
3x with an ERD of 600mm comes out at 290mm/291mm
So Id just get a box of 291mm. if they do them in odds, or 290mm if only evens.
Oops
3 cross spokes.
Cheers Stoner.
Stoner's numbers sound about right - think I ended up/got away with 292mm on both sides of an LX dynamo disc hub, 3 cross on an Open Pro.
Out of interest McMoo, why did you go for this rather than the magic Rose Shimano N80/317 combo @ £60? Just curious.
Boblo, mostly vanity* and the love of bling.
*matching the rear rim.
That's the most compelling reason after all 🙂
I needed it to have a disc hub too. The Rose bike wheel is great value, I might still go for one for my Harry Hall.
i built mine 290 all round. worked fine.
I measured ERD at 599. EDIT: mine was tn319. So ignore me. maybe
😀
