Mmmm thought I had the right tool but a small torque wrench is no a spoke tensioner. Has anyone got one they can borrow me or even sell me. I don't want to buy a new one for £50 - £60 for two sets wheel builds. Fitting ZTR rims and worried I may over tension them buy eye and feel.

I bought a park one when I built my first pair of flow rims. However, I think the absolute measure of tension is not that accurate. In the end, I measured the tension on a set of hope hoops and build to that. I use the park tool just to check relative tension.

For larger riders, the prescribed tension seems low. In theory, I'll shorten the life of my rims but right now, they work perfectly at the moment.

Sorry for the late reply out all day family visits etc. Agree about the tensioner I have another built set of Hopes I am thinking it may be a case of use as a refference and flex with my fingers to compare.
