Spoke calculations for a new wheel build have come out at left = 262.3 and right = 261.3. So the left rounds down to 262 which is fine, but not too many places do 261mm at a decent price. Can I use 260 or 262 for the right instead?

Better to round up, generally...

I've also read elsewhere that if rounding up you could run out of thread before adequate tension is reached, especially on the driveside, is 1mm going to be inside this tolerance?

well, even the great lob Sheldon appears to contradict himself, kinda:

Generally, I round upward to the nearest available larger size. The length is not super-critical, but it is worse to have spokes a bit too long than a bit too short.

Cheers guys, found some 261mm ones that aren't too expensive after all so will go for those!

I always round down as a matter of policy, given that spoke calculators don't account for spoke stretch (which can make a significant difference).
