New one on me. Just got a set of Light Bicycle wheels. On the rim by the the valve hole is a label saying 'spoke direction'. Looking down on the wheel with the valve hole at the bottom it would be from left to right , slightly pointing to the rear. Both wheels have it, even the front which is radial pattern. Anyone know?
The holes are angled for left and right flange.
Yes I understand that, but the wheels are already built and I still don't quite see what that label tells you.
I guess it tells you that they don't take those labels off after they've laced up the wheel.
Or they want to advertise that the holes are angled, it is actually a nice touch.

• Follow the spoke direction shown on arrow sticker.
The rims have angled nipple holes that alternate left/right/left. Please lace spokes in the correct direction to avoid spoke hole damage. The direction is shown on arrow sticker near the valve hole.

Ok ta
Could do with that on the rims I buy. Due to my disregard for detail I have laced up wheels at least twice with spokes in the wrong holes and had to redo the whole thing...
+1 for wanting to see that on more rims, or a label to say it doesn't have an offset. Also would be nice to see all the stats (especially erd) written on the rim. Some do this but not many.
