How do you find the sizing on the 2011 onwards Specialized Enduro. Being 5' 10 should i go for a large with a short-reach stem?

I'm 6ft and my old 06 Enduro was a medium and that was a bit small. I now rode an 11 Evo in large with a 20mm shorter stem and it feels great. I just wish I had a normal one as the evo frame is too much for my needs.

If you like your bikes streached out get a large, if not get a medium.

Nimble at slow speed medium with a 50mm stem or stable at high speed large with a 30mm stem.

At 5'10" You can go either way. Depends on the riding/terrain you do.

I'm 6ft but with long legs/short torso - had to go large on my last 2 Enduro's, but purely for seat tube length - they ('06 & '08) were/are quite long bikes though - can't comment on the current versions, but at 5'10", I'd wager a Medium would be your ideal size.

Get an air shock for your Evo.

At 6ft I ride a large with a 50mm stem. If I were 5' 10" i'm pretty sure I'd want to drop to a medium.

How? Without swapping the clevis I cant see how I can fit one. I have thought about getting a new clevis made up by BETD but need to contact them about the cost.

Why not source a non-eyeleted Specialized specific shock? Isn't the eye to eye is the same for the standard Enduro.

A Float off a 13 Enduro sold on ebay recently for $180 and there's a CCDB on Pinkbike off an Enduro for $375.

I'm 5.10, but have gorilla length arm, so i run a large with a 40mm stem.
Better than the previous medium with a 70mm stem. Also my reverb has not much lay-back, so the large worked better with this post.

Im not sure how that would work. The evo link has a ring around it that doesn't seem to fit the x fusion air shock I have. It seems specific to a coil shock.

I cant fit a new one without the new links and I don't think the new links are compatible with the old frames.

I think the best solution (and probably no where near the cheapest) is to get a new link machined up so I can use a standard sized shock. It should also be of the new Kona style so no machining to the shock is needed.

I can't see how this differs from what specialized were trying to achieve but yet again Specialized went down the route of producing stupid suspension mounts.
