For use with a Garmin watch.. best stick to a Garmin branded one, or are there other brands that will work?

AFAIK any ant+ / bluetooth one will work

I'm using the Wahoo one and it's been fine with my Edge 820. One thing to check is the size of your hub - it fits on the DT240 I have, but not the Bontrager one, which is pretty beefy... It might be that it came with longer rubber things that I've just lost, but do check!

I have the Garmin one but never need it, as I only use it out doors. Yours for £10 inc postage. I only bought it as it was in a package with the new cadence sensor.
