I’m looking to get some Speed and Cadence sensors for my bike to run along side my bog standard turbo trainer.

I have a Garmin Fenix 5x watch so wondering if I’m best getting the Garmin sensors or is there any others I can use?

I use the Garmin speed sensor and a Fenix 5. Works great.
Even self adjusts the wheel size when I swap it from a 29er to a 27.5er.

If you’re planning on Zwift the Garmin ones do Bluetooth LE as well as ANT+

I always pick up a 2md hand Garmin one off ebay. They come up all the time and if you are lucky you can get one for £10

Should add it’s only the latest Garmin ones that do BT

Cadende cadence cadence! It's all about cadence. I hardly watch my speed, just my cadence. (I don't have a power metre!)

Do they have to be Garmin Speed/cadence sensors to work with the Fenix 5x? Or would any brand with Bluetooth work?
