Hey Chaps,
15 years of riding MTBs, and I've yet to find the perfect saddle. I've been so close, but nothing bang on.
The main problem at the moment is just numb bits. I've been running a WTB Volt in 155, which has a perfect shape for me, but I just get numb after long hill climbs - like an hour of climbing.
I'm interested in the Specialized Power - I've got an Arc, but it's too narrow, and wondering how folk have found the padding on the standard Power - and the wings. In the 155 version they feel like they may rub a little.
Cheers
Ricks
Tried a Power Pro Elaston in the 155 and couldn’t get on with it at all. The edges were sharp and dig into my groin.
As with all saddle experience, YMMV
Had one on the road for years, hung up the roadie a while back and put the Power on my hardtail. Found it to be perfectly comfortable on both, but the real revelation was that I've been weaning myself off bibshorts and it's been great for rides of up to 2h in 'normal' clothes. I'll wear bibs if going for longer.
Not a power, but have run Phenoms on my bikes since 2015. 7 days of peddalling, 6 hours a day with no issues.
Also found that decent bib shorts are important, casttelli for me, the Progetto X2 equipped ones are pretty damn good.
If you're worried about the wings rubbing you could try the Selle Italia Flite Boost?
Same concept as the power but the Flite shape gets the saddle wings out of the way of your thighs quicker than most saddles.
I've got one on my Roubaix. The padding is fine and it's comfortable but I do get slight chafing at the crease between thigh and groin. Not enough to make me bother changing the saddle though.
Have you tried a bike fit? If your getting numbness it might be your saddle height is too high?
+1 for Phenom
For MTB I use a Comp gel and it gets out of the way in all of the right places. One of the few saddles where I do actually feel as if my sit-bones are doing most if not all of the actual sitting. As with all saddles, ymmv.

My other Saddle (touring/gravel/commuting) is a Brooks Team Pro Special. Have only put about 100 miles on it but it’s at the stage where I barely notice it. No cut-out/relief-channel on it, so it must be the hammock-effect working in my favour as I normally choose saddles that leave my perineum out of the equation.
