I have two of these and both have gone; 1 after 4 months of light use and the other after less than a year riding - the rails are loose where they fix into the back of the saddle and there is a perpetual clicking / cracking sound whilst riding.

Has anyone had similar problems and any solutions suggested?

Get a charge spoon or a madison flux.

I haven’t had any issues with mine in two years of riding my HT at trail centres, local trails and multi day XC touring. Prior to that I had a Charge spoon - which was the most uncomfortable saddle I had used. A things to consider: have you got the correct width Phenom? Have you got the pro or standard? Does the phenom have a recommended rider weight range and are you outside of that? Or maybe just the way it’s fitted on your seat post?

Yep, mine do the same.
I've also had a rail pop out of the end hole. No matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't go back in.

Mine were about 2 yrs old when they started going. I just use a different brand now.

Have you tried to warranty them? Specialized are very good in that department

Have two, both have around 3000miles on them, no issues. I'd send them back to the shop for them to look at, they arn't cheap and should be lasting a lot longer than that!

Thank you all. Will try specialized directly. Then go for another brand if not success. 🙂

Got a warranty replacement saddle. Many thanks to Graham at Pedal Heaven in Fleet for organising this for me.
