I know it's personal preference but not getting on with the current Fabric Scoop. Previously liked the Bel Air so that's another option..
I like mine!
Love the Bel Air, couldn't get on with a Henge. Seems to be too flat/broad-nosed in comparison. ymmv
Had mine on my Stumpy HT from new in 2005 til it finally gave up earlier this year...spot on til then. Charge Spoon on now. Both suited me fine
I get on really well with the Henge. For longer rides the flat profile works for me better than curved saddles like the Spoon or Scoop. Saddles are pretty subjective so the only way is to try it, luckily Specialized do a 30 exchange on their saddles so you can switch to a different model if the Henge doesn't suit.
Anyone swapped from a Phenom to a Henge or vice versa?
I had ti Bell airs on all my bikes but as they were getting old as I started my journey to find a new saddle.
I tried Bell Air 2, specialised henge, fizik airone to name a few. I need to sell my failed attempts to find comfort.
I've settled on a charge spoon on the mtb and a fabric scoop on the road bike. I'm 6ft3 and slim build if that helps.
I found the henge the worst of them all.
There's only one way to tell if it works for you!
Got two. Love them. What was more important though was getting my arse measured and finding out I have need wider saddles 😂... Probably made the most difference
Not bad I'd say a bit better than a Charge Spoon but nothing exceptional. Average sort of padding thickness, if you're looking for something super plush, look elsewhere!
Hated the Scoop, Henge is ok but I like the Ergon SM more, similar shape.
My arse fits well with the Henge - use them on multiple bikes now. But then the Fabric Scoop on my commuter feels equally comfy so not sure that helps...
The Henge on my Enduro is quite comfortable (for me at least), but I've been using a new Ergon SM Pro for a few weeks and it is even better. It has slightly more padding and is a similar shape and size to my Henge. It has a fairly flat profile with a slight kick-up at the back, which seems to work well for me.
