Now I know bike apparel often comes in weird sizing, but has anyone else found that Specialized's range of gloves and mitts come in on the exceptionally small size?

I usually take a large or xl in Altura / Endura gloves, but the last pair of Specialized road mitts I bought last year were extremely tight even in XL. They stretched out a tad but still get really uncomfortable around the webs of my fingers on anything but the shortest commute.

Yesterday I went to pick up some mtb gloves from the LBS as I couldn't find my Enduras anywhere. Settled on a pair of Specialized Lodown gloves which I had to take in the largest (2XL) size as again the XL was stupidly tight.

Looking on the size guide on the Specialized website, they place my hand geometry as a size L. I find this really hard to believe!

Does anyone else find they have to size up considerably with Speccy gloves?

Nope. Got about 8 pairs, and they're all the size I expect. In fact I go up in Gore gloves

Think they changed their sizing a few years back, suddenly found I needed to go one or two sizes up over my previous ones.
