Wondering about upgrading my aluminium gravel bike Salsa Warbird to a Specialized Roubaix, would I notice a notable increase in front end compliance?
Mainly cycle on the road these days with 28mm road conti 4 session tyres at reasonably low pressures 70-80psi and the thickest lizard skin bar tape. I'm not looking to race just club rides/solo efforts that include lots of cobbles (I now live in Flanders)

I tried a Roubaix round a carpark. The future shock seemed odd but worked well over the bumps.

There were none in my size in the country then or I would have bought it.

I have a diverge with one, quite hard to quantify. You still feel bumps etc and often I think 'is it working?' and then I stick my finger on the concertina cover thing and you can feel it moving up and down like a lunatic, so it obviously is doing something.

As you can't lock it out (on mine), very hard to tell how much difference it makes.

I've got it on my 2018 Roubaix Comp. I'm using the medium spring and I'm around 70kg. Great bike and the future shock works very well in smoothing out the crap potholed roads around here. I can't comment about handling cobbles though.

btw, I'm using Specialized Roubaix Pro 25/28 tyres which have been excellent.
