Looking at the specialized fuse 2016 with 3inch tires.

several reviews commented on a "harsh ride due to the very stiff frame".

Any owners who can comment. I am considering a large. 6.1ft and 82kg.

Don't know if it helps but I just had an email from Sigma Sports, they're on offer 33% off.

I have had a fuse for just under a year now and it has become my main bike, replacing a superlight and corratec. Awesome bike, heaps of grip and given 3in tyres how does someone decide it has a stiff ride? just get tyre pressures right and it is fun time.

Stiff frame, 3" tyres....

Meh. Unless you pumped them up super hard I guess?

I have just ordered a Fuse Pro from Evans....was £2000,reduced to £1399,too good a deal to resist having been thinking about getting one all winter.

I've had one for nearly 18 months. It is a harsh ride compared to a FS but it is the smoothest riding hardtail I've ever had because of the tyres, even compared to steel.
